Starting the Paleo Diet was extremely hard for me because I couldn't imagine eating any meal without my food staples that I grew up on...rice, beans, bread, pasta, dairy...mentally I was not "satisfied" unless I had these things. I found myself asking...what the hell am I supposed to eat??? Well, once I was able to get over my own stubborness and just TRIED to eat Paleo, I found myself not only eating clean, but I was having FUN cooking things that I never tried and it made FOOD FUN!!!! The first 2 wks were tuff but I made it possible by planning my meals for the week so that I wouldn't find myself looking for food I was used to eating and I stayed true to eating real foods. Simple rules, lean protein, fat (nuts,avocado,extra virgin olive oil), carbs (veggies/fruit)
